Delete your account

For the Leave By app

You can delete your Leave By account and everything stored with it at any time. You do not need to reinstall the app to do it.

In the app

The fastest route, and it takes effect immediately:

Settings → Account → Delete account

By email

If you no longer have the app installed, or you would rather we did it, email us from the address on the account and we will remove it within 30 days.

Request deletion by email

If your account was created anonymously and has no email address attached, use the in-app route above — we have no way to verify ownership of an anonymous account by email, and deleting the wrong one is not recoverable.

What gets deleted

Your account and everything stored server-side with it: all events, the computed alert schedules, and the push notification tokens registered to your devices.

What is kept

Nothing on our side. There is no backup copy retained after deletion, and no analytics profile to remove because the app collects none. If you subscribed to Premium, Google Play, Apple and RevenueCat keep their own purchase records under their own policies — and the subscription itself keeps renewing until you cancel it in the store.

This cannot be undone

Deletion is permanent. There is no recovery window and no backup we can restore from, which is the point — if we could bring it back for you, we could bring it back for someone else.
